Reverse Confetti SALE + Hop!

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Did you hear that it's Jen's Birthday Weekend and she's celebrating with a SALE and 2 Day Hop?!  Now is the time to stock up on your Reverse Confetti favorites!  Today's fun starts HERE.

In case you missed it, there was a hop yesterday too, the fun starts HERE.

Today's project features the Banner in Bloom stamps + coordinating confetti cuts.

It's such a pretty stamp and I love the different sentiments that you can use.  All I did was some quick coloring to coordinate with the panel from the Under The Umbrella 6x6 Paper Pad.

Stone cardstock is one of my favorites and goes wonderfully with the pattern paper.  I finished off my card with a trio of enamel dots from my stash.

My card was inspired by the August SFYTT:

Have you seen the gorgeous New Day Card kit?!

I could literally create for days with this kit.  I managed to make 3 cards for today's hop and didn't even make a dent in all the supplies!

I had so much fun, first up is a card that uses some of the images from the stamp set:

If you didn't know it already, green is my favorite.  I certainly gravitated to that gorgeous striped paper from the 6x6 paper pad.  See that frame?  Oh my, it's absolutely gorgeous and just filled with such lovely details.  I stamped the bloom in a couple different shades of ink to come up with my own custom color.  The mixed font sentiment is perfect-o!

Next up is a card that I designed to focus on the paper pad:

I used my Distress Oxides to color in those blooms!  Super happy that the paper didn't warp at all!  I can't stay away from that beautiful frame die!  This time I die cut it in black and mounted all the layers on a black note card.  The sentiment is from the kit's stamp set.  A little bit of a watercolored background to coordinate with the blooms.

My final card has no stamping!

I used that awesome wood veneer and puffy letters from the kit and *boom* the card was done!

Whew!  That's it for me!  Next up is the awesome TaeEun Yoo!  Remember to leave a comment before you go to be eligible for the giveaway!

Pinkfresh Studio Design Team Line Up & Escape the Ordinary Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio Design Team Line Up & Escape the Ordinary Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very awesome Amanda-Jayne Baldwin's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Pinkfresh Studio Blog!

Leave a comment as you hop along for a chance to win!  One winner will receive the Escape the Ordinary Collection:

and another winner will receive a Stamp & Die Prize Package worth over $100.00!

The winners will be randomly selected and the requirement is that you leave a comment on each Blog in the Hop!

I'm so excited to be a part of this team and am thoroughly grateful for the experience.  Let's get started, shall we?  I have two projects to share today, first up is a card that uses the Unicorn Dreams stamp set:

I wanted to give the card a 'dreamy look' so for the background I used the smooshing technique with a couple of the Distress Oxide inks.  To help ground the Unicorn, I did use just the Twisted Citron on a separate panel for her to stand on.

I also tried to coordinate the colors that were already on the Felicity Phrase Sticker that I used.

Next up is a card that I designed using the Escape the Ordinary stamp set + coordinating die:

I gotta tell you, the way that Pinkfresh Studio coordinates their stamps + dies is truly genius.  I started off with an oxide ink galaxy panel that I pre-designed and dried thoroughly.  I stamped some of the images on the panel and heat embossed them in gold.  I tucked in that awesome circle die cut from the Ephemera Pack with Foil Accents.

It was perfect since it has a matte black background just like my galaxy panel!

That's it for me, up next is the wonderful Beata Valint!

In case you get lost along the way, the hop listing is below!

Happy Hopping!

Make sure you pop over to the Pinkfresh Studio blog to also see the fabulous Scrapbook Design Team!

Here's a card that I whipped up using the gorgeous Felicity collection:

I've been a long time fan of Pinkfresh Studio's style!

Here's an earlier project that I designed for their June Stamp Release:

I wanted to also share this earlier project that uses the Felicity collection:

I teamed it up with some Spellbinder dies :)

I'm so thrilled to be working with the AWESOME Pinkfresh Studio products and can't wait to show you some of the projects I've been working on!

Celebrate - Hip, Hippo, Hooray!

Plaid + Hippos = Yes, Please!  I had so much fun with the MFT Happy Hippo set!  Those guys make ME happy!

I whipped up this card for my friend's her birthday!  She's kinda my birthday twin even though we don't share the same birthday...LOL.  We love to swap Mom stories, as in about our own mother's.  You'd understand if you grew up with an asian mother, I'm sure my own kids would love to share stories about me.

Isn't that celebrate font fabulous?  It's been cut from Stampin' Up (sadly retired) Crisp Cantaloupe.  Do you see the 'sprinkles' on the cupcakes?  They're Iridescent Star Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh.  The scalloped border is from PPP too!

I love the MFT Subtle Plaid paper pad, doesn't it look awesome with the Crisp Cantaloupe and pops of green?

I'm an adhesive-aholic.  I'm always on the lookout for new stuff.  I picked up the On Point Glue from Impress and LOVE that stuff...make adhering the 'sprinkles' on the cupcakes a breeze!
